News: 1 teen killed, 1 injured in single-vehicle crash on Boundary Pike in Lynn

LYNN, IN – An SUV accident in Randolph County Sunday afternoon claimed the life of a teenage girl, WISH reports.

Police were dispatched to the scene on Boundary Pike near US Highway 36 in Lynn after being notified of the incident shortly after 3:30 p.m.  Investigators determined that the driver of a 1998 Chevy SUV drove off the roadway and then overcorrected.  The vehicle spun out of control, began to roll and ended up a field.

A 16-year-old girl who was in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 17-year-old girl was injured and transported to Reid Hospital.
