Who Can Apply for Our Scholarship?
To be eligible for the Tandy Law Firm Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Education Level:
Beginning law school in the fall semester of 2026
What Do You Need to Submit?
All applicants must complete a short personal essay responding to the following question:
What inspired you to pursue a career in law, and how do you hope to use your legal education to make a difference in your community?
Your answer should reflect your motivations, your values, and how you envision contributing to society through your legal education.
What Are We Looking For?
Applicants will be evaluated on three key qualities:
Ambition
A clear, compelling vision for your legal career and the change you aim to create.
Drive
Evidence of initiative and follow through in legal academics or work.
Impact
A well articulated plan to benefit individuals or communities.
Our firm is interested in students who demonstrate purpose, commitment, and a genuine desire to use the law for good.

Are you preparing to enter law school in the fall semester of 2026 and want to use your legal education to uplift others, protect rights, and create positive social change? In that case, our scholarship can help you begin that journey with support and purpose! We award $1,000 to one winner. Applications are due April 7, 2026, and the winner will be announced on May 7, 2026.
